Scraggy is a jetblack raven, living just outside the garden, in the tallest tree there is. He likes to sit right at the top of his tree, where he can watch over miles and miles of town and countryside. Scraggy has no quarrel with any of the other animals or birds, apart from the Red Kite, which will be seen off in no uncertain terms, whenever the Kite gets within sight.
